Alleged Incident in Australian Hotel

Yung Filly, the popular British rapper and YouTuber, has been arrested on charges of rape and assault in Australia. The 29-year-old, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was taken into custody in Brisbane on Tuesday and later extradited to Perth.

Charges and Court Appearance

Yung Filly appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on October 9, facing serious charges including three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and four counts of sexual penetration without consent. The allegations stem from an incident on September 28, where he is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 20s at a hotel in Perth, following a performance at Bar1 Nightclub in Hillarys.

Bail Denied

During the court hearing, Yung Filly’s lawyer, Seamus Rafferty SC, applied for bail, which was opposed by police prosecutor Julius Depetro. The prosecution presented photos of the woman’s injuries to the magistrate, with Depetro stating: “No ordinary person can consent in these circumstances.” He described the injuries as a history of violent acts, claiming the alleged assault was beyond the bounds of consensual behavior.
