Diondre Overton, a former Clemson football standout who contributed to two national championship victories, has tragically died at the age of 26. According to the Guilford County Sheriff’s Office, Overton was shot and killed early Saturday morning in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Authorities responded to a disturbance call at around 2:30 AM, where they discovered Overton as the shooting victim. Despite officers administering medical aid, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
