An unstable individual assaulted three individuals using a glass bottle in a violent and unprovoked incident that began at a Midtown Whole Foods store in New York City, according to the police.

The series of assaults commenced outside the Whole Foods on Sixth Avenue, opposite Bryant Park, when a 33-year-old suspect struck a 23-year-old man with a bottle at around 6:40 p.m., as reported by law enforcement.

Afterward, the assailant entered the store’s second floor, where he attacked a 49-year-old woman, as stated by the New York Police Department. He then fled to the subway station between 47th Street and Sixth Avenue, where he assaulted a 55-year-old woman on a train.

The suspect, identified as Michael Howell by sources, was apprehended by the police on 46th Street and subsequently charged with assault. All three victims were hospitalized in stable condition.

Photographs taken outside Whole Foods depict a woman being transported in an ambulance with her head wrapped in bandages. Additionally, a man with visible head injuries was observed sitting behind an ambulance.

A man wearing glasses, a black graphic hoodie, and black pants was seen being escorted away by a police officer in handcuffs at the NYPD’s Midtown South precinct.
