Big Lex and Josephine Hernandez had been at odds, so they decided to resolve their differences by fighting backstage at the Floyd Mayweather vs. John Gotti bout.
Joseline Hernandez was arrested early on Monday for at least four offences, including trespassing and assault, demonstrating that police were made aware of the incident. In the mug shot TMZ got of her, she doesn’t seem particularly content.
Unlike Floyd Mayweather’s weekend punches, Joseline Hernandez was throwing haymakers backstage, many of which hit Big Lex.

Clearly, Joseline won the battle against Lex at the time because the two women were eventually split apart. However, Joseline wasn’t finished using her fists; she continued to fling punches at a variety of nearby individuals, including men, and appeared to attack at random.
An unidentified woman who was passing by the chaos at one time hurled a drink in Joseline’s direction before being chased out of the premises by JH.
Although it’s unknown what sparked the altercation, it was clear that Joseline was in a rage due to it.
That evening, there was yet another disturbance in the arena, but this time it concerned the management and teams of the fighters rather than the boxers themselves. Gotti remained in the fight despite getting disqualified in the sixth round for repeated holding.
Floyd’s team interfered to stop him, which sparked a major altercation. It’s easy to say that the antics turned the game into one of the strangest athletic events anyone has seen in a while.
