A video of a right-wing YouTuber harassing Brittney Griner at an airport is available.
Throughout her one-year incarceration in Russia, Brittney Griner built up a potently divisive persona that many have utilized for political gain.
At the Dallas airport on Saturday, one of these people accosted the Phoenix Mercury star. A formal statement addressing the incident was released by Griner’s WNBA club.
The video’s actor, Alex Stein, uploaded it on social media later. In light of the @WNBA preparing press releases about him, he tweeted, “Here is a piece of my experience with Brittney Griner today.
Stein can be heard screaming at Griner as she and her Mercury teammates are spotted walking through the airport.
Hey Brit, do you still want to boycott America? he yelled.
Stein was removed from the area by Griner’s security after he insisted on asking questions about the disputed prisoner exchange that released the WNBA player.
Griner has received a lot of support since arriving back in the country in December. Unfortunately, others will constantly exploit her predicament to achieve their own ideals and political goals.
